Dr Lauren Joseph completed her specialist degree in Anaesthesia and Critical Care in 2017 at the University of Stellenbosch. Thereafter she pursued an active role in the public domain training and teaching students, interns and registrars. In 2019, she branched into the private domain and is currently an associate at Cape Anaesthetics Inc. in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. Her scope of work is broad, ranging from vascular to paediatric cases, but one of her deepest passions is her weekly endometriosis theatre list with Dr Thomas. This list has facilitated the successful surgeries of multiple woman living in chronic pain and distress. Attentive management of their peri operative journey is crucial to their overall outcome with many lessons have being learnt over the past few years which she is excited to share at PASE.
